Habari za mwaka mpya! | Speakers Wanted | New Website Live | Big Things Coming
Heri ya Mwaka Mpya, Nairobi DevOps Family!
We know, we know we’re already a few deployments into 2026. But as the saying goes in the community, “Better a late deployment that works than a broken one on time.” We hope your systems are stable and your Jan-worry is treating you kindly.
2025 So Far: We’re Just Getting Started!
2025 was a massive year for us, and before we hit top speed for 2026, we wanted to take a moment to look back. Last year 2025 was all about moving from “Cloud Curious” to “Cloud Native.”

The 2026 : "Hii Mwaka, Form ni Gani? Form ni Biggie!"
2026 is all about consistency, depth, and community impact:
So, what’s the vibe for 2026? Let’s just say mambo ni mengi, na masaa ni machache. We can’t keep this completely under wraps. Let’s just say we’re planning something MAJOR for 2026.
Picture this: A bigger stage. More speakers. Regional (maybe even continental?) reach. The kind of event that puts Nairobi and Kenya at the center of Africa’s DevOps conversation.
Think DevOpsSummit... but leveled up.
We’re talking about an event that will:
Attract international DevOps leaders and practitioners
Showcase the incredible talent we have right here in Kenya
Create opportunities for knowledge exchange across borders
Put African DevOps innovation on the global map
Tutaomba mkono, lakini tutafika far! We’ll need help, but we’re going to make it big!
Want to be part of making history? Whether as an organizer, sponsor, speaker, or supporter, we want you on this journey. Hit reply and let’s start the conversation. The best events are built by passionate communities, and that’s exactly what we have.
Tuko pamoja. Tutawasha moto! (We’re together. We’ll light the fire!)
A Note from the Team
This community thrives because of YOU. Every question you ask, every insight you share, every late-night debugging story — it all contributes to making this the most supportive DevOps community in East Africa.
2026 is our year to grow, learn, and ship better together. Whether you step up as a speaker, volunteer as a writer, or simply show up to meetups with curiosity you make a difference.
Let’s make this year legendary. Stable systems, clean pipelines, successful deployments and, shared learning experience at a time.
Asante sana for being part of this journey. Tunaendelea na moyo huo huo!
With gratitude and excitement,
The Nairobi DevOps Community Team
